HELLO BLOG! Realised that I've been blogging religiously every weekend and I kinda skipped a post last weekend because I was hunting for materials all over SG (by that I mean Spotlight, Chinatown & Little India - which was enough to kill me) & having fun @ USS with Ben on Sunday! It was a quite a good weekend for me!

ROLLER COASTER. Omg the first thing we did when we arrived was to take the red ride called 'Human'. I didn't wanna appear like a loser or anything so I just agreed to it without even checking out the route ('cause I thought that just because I dared to take the Inverter from Escape Theme Park 4 yrs ago , I'm a fearless basterd. BUT NO, either my threshold for fear had dropped drastically, or the Inverter was a bloody joke. Okay Escape itself is a joke anyway.). I thought the ride was a little scary and he wanted to take the blue ride (which is called the Cyclon? IF HUMAN IS SCARY, WTH IS CYCLON?!) and I felt like I wasn't up for it so we agreed to take it last, right before we leave... We took all the other rides because there wasn't any queues. I quite liked Egyptian ride when we got plunged down in complete darkness all of a sudden. OKAY @ THE END OF THE DAY, we took the red ride again & it was much more enjoyable the 2nd time when I let go of my fear to fill the thrill~ & HE CONVINCED ME TO TAKE THE BLUE RIDE DESPITE MY STRONG RELUCTANCE :O it was...really exciting (albeit fucking scary la I'm not kidding, I think when you grow old your threshold for fear drop like crazy & you don't seek thrill any more) but I'm glad that I took it & didn't leave USS with a bugging regret ^^

The week was pretty eventful too. Celebrated racial harmony day on monday in school but I didn't wear any ethnic costume! First time in 6 yrs I wasn't enthu about it! Guess I'm feeling old and not cute enough to prance around in a swishy skirt or hot enough to pull off some qibao or sari stuff :( V.DAY WAS FOREVER ALONE TOGETHER (F.A.T) DAY FOR THE 1D GIRLS! Received a lot of sweet (both literally and figuratively) brownies and muffins and cookies from the girls!! Had dinz dinz with the girls at j8, that's all ^^ Weds was Take 5! It wasn't even fun for me. Didn't get to take the rides or hang out with my classmates because I was stuck doing makeup for the models, then me & Jolynn cinderella94s & swept/mopped the runway rooms to prepare for the runway interview (interviewing j1s who wanna join!) It was super boring because all the answers were morally correct and similar. Gosh was I that lame when I go for interviews too?! Then this girl went like 'oh I've seen the designs and they were all pretty simple and easy to make' WOAH WRONG MOVE LITTLE GAL. YOU TRY. Thou shalt not discredit laoniang's (and laoniang's friends') efforts like this & get away with it tsk tsk tsk.

Okay thurs was sleeping day & friday was working at SG!! I WAS PLANNING TO STUDY AT WORK BUT...I had to help shushu make yogurt because the girl in the earlier shift didn't turn up. Then I met this dude (for the 2nd time) who sat there talking to me for 1h & I entertained him because he was pretty interesting. Quite rare to meet someone with substance these days..normally the customers just ask really annoying (how come you can eat non-stop for free?) and frivolous (how old are you what's your pay what school) questions that piss me off on bad days & entertain me on better ones. Anyhooo, my mum has officially banned me from working till 12am because she's pissed that she and my dad had to stay up late to ensure that I reached home safely (ie not get kidnapped by the taxi driver & shipped off to malaysia to be sold) and SG closes at 12am wth. So that means I can only work at HG mall during weekends & IT SUCKS. what is this man i hate my life. Oh well, I'm falling behind in school anyway. I've only worked thrice this month.

On a side note, I've not been exercising or doing pe for the past month because my knee hurts so bad now. I'm pretty sure something is amiss & I'mma get it checked by a specialist next week. Sigh. Fatgal94 now :( WHAT TO DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

HI. Yes you realised I do like to start the post off with a group photo ^^That was taken when the usuals visited me at work during J's birthday. They said I'm quite fierce and unfriendly to them D: Not trueeee I'm always super friendly to those who came and visit D: Maybe I've really exhaust myself to the breaking pt :( In fact I just came home from work too :( Hakiim and Mirza visited me when I was doing closing. Always good to have friends around when I'm doing solo shifts. If not, me + boredom + a lot of food = not a very ideal stomach size.

Seeing the new j1s having orientation just reminded me of myself. When I see random JAE students walking around, nervous and excited about embarking their journey in this scarily huge school with all these unfamiliar faces, having not a single clue about how life would be like, I just feel glad that all these are over and that I'm now quite comfortable with my circle of friend and most importantly, familiar with the campus compound :s Nevertheless, I most certainly do not miss orientation or any part of being a j1 hahaha I just wanna finish the year quickly and leave this place. I won't even miss anything. Okay that's not true. I'll miss my classmates, cheap yong tau foo, haw's kitchen's fish soup, the library (the movie area), the treadmill (the one and only workout machine I've ever used my entire life hahaha) and maybe erm, climbing up 7 storeys with a poor victim I've dragged along ('cause the faulty lifts tend to piss me off early in the mornz & I would rather pant and stumble up 7 flights of stairs than be stuck in a overcrowded confined space for 5min).

Hi I'm officially too hungry & too tired for words so here are a bunch of unflattering CNY DAY1 photos with me looking too chubby for my liking. My week was pretty much satisfying? CNY visiting on day1 was just like every other day1 for the past few years of my life. 'cept that this year I didn't get to see my half-german or my half-indian nephews. I was feeling kinda bummedz about it 'cause they're really adorable and I only get to see them once a yr, if not 2 yrs :( Visited Jiayi's, Nick's & Zoey's with the bunch of usuals on day2. It was fun, 'cept for the fact that I lost about 30 bux (after winning 28 bucks. wth fate of the banker just reversed like that?!) & I kinda still owe Nick 22 bux but he's a nice, rich and cool dude so I know he wouldn't collect it from me ^^ School was so short? I ended at 12.30 from weds-fri so I had time to sleep at home.

Work from 6pm - 12am @ SG yesterday. It was a good shift 'cause shushu cooked prawns, egg tofu, mushrooms & chicken soup with steamboat ingredients just for me. On top of that, it was Jiayi's birthday so the usuals dropped by for some fro-yo after feasting @ chompchomp as a mini celebration. & someone popped up at 12am to watch me count money & laugh at me for growing fatter as compared to my sec school days. Didn't blame him since I've received that comments for about 20 times so I've pretty much accepted that. Studied with peipeizxs @ HG mall before my shift @ 5pm today & I've convinced her to join Frolick!!! :D

Quite an eventful week! But I be ashamed to confess that I've neither worked out (despite gobbling up all pineapple tarts & assorted sinful CNY goodies within my radius, be it @ the house I was visiting, my own class, my own house or at work) nor have I touched the first outfit I was working on. But oh well it's CNY, shall cut myself some slack. Promised myself to get into shape soon when my knee stops being a bitch & I'll really speed up on my construction instead of sleeping my precious afternoons away.

I have been officially awake for 38h (excluding brief periods of shut-eyes) and my brain has already cease to function quite a few hours ago. There goes my 2nd week of school. I have been keeping myself busy really. On the days when I'm not working, I was mainly at home trying to work on my outfits or get some hwk done. Work on thurs @ cine was pretty boring & uneventful but my friday @ gardens was much better! Speaking of friday, let me just explain the reason behind my sleep deprivation, which is linked to the SUPER PRETTY AND ARTISTIC WALL on the pix above ^^

I remembered feeling really frustrated with myself. We had this CNY civics breakfast thingy when the entire class bought CNY goodies to share. Needless to say, I'd been snacking on them unceasingly & excessively but I'd been comforting myself with thought that all the fats would be burnt off when I hit the gym after PE on friday. HOWEVER, after a short 30min PE that consisted of sprints, lunges & a few push ups, I'd managed to completely exhaust myself and strain my pathetic knee so my jogging plans were screwed!!! Argh so lazy me just went home instead of sticking to plan :( AND WHEN I GOT HOME, I CONTINUED STUFFING MYSELF WITH CNY GOODIES WTH IS WRONG WITH ME. Okay, but thank goodness I had enough discipline to drag myself out of the house despite the downpour, & all the way to Chinatown to purchase my necessary materials. BUT, all the textile shops, lest a few, were on CNY break!! Wasted trip!!! So I just went to one of the 3 operating shops & bought super overpriced sub-standard cloth arghhh. Sigh :(

After all that self-hate & disappointment, I had to drag myself to SG for work. I was really glad to be working with Heidi though, I didn't think I could cope with another round of super friendly self-introduction & polite queries with an unfamiliar girl. & shushu cooked pig trotter with vinegar for us for dinner! ^^ it was so yummy & we bonded with him while watching some channel8 show (which reminded me of my childhood & how I've gradually ditched those good'ols local dramas for smokin' hot vampires and Upper East Side bimbos) So work was really nice & it felt like home! Really hope to be able to work there like once a week on a constant basis hmmm.. So here comes the truth about the pretty wall...it isn't in my room :( It's PS's! I cabbed down to her place after work to vandalise her walls from like 2am to 4am with Vivian while ZH just sat there in amusement. Crashed for a short while & had a mornz stroll to bux for brekkie. & When I reached home, I couldn't sleep because I'm such a mornz person (the things that school does to you) so I went to work on my outfits before heading off to my grampz' place for reunion dinz.

Hi ^^ The above is my back-to-school OG pix taken during homecoming. The first week of school was okay I guess? Had homecoming, open house and a bit of lessons! I was doubling as make up & hair IC for the models as well as a Befriender (tour guide). Actually I was stuck in the Runway room most of the time and...the only person I toured was a very worried Jillian. A few other unexpected jrs came as well!! & I'm felt quite bad that my blog posts about school had discouraged them from joining RJ...but come'on, 90% of my friends complain & genuinely hate the schools they are in, for many different reasons. So it's really up to the individual & one shouldn't be affected by others opinion :X I felt even worse for not replying to the formspring questions about school sincerely & properly because it was a bad week for me (still trying hard to adapt to my back-to-school life) & because I was so grumpy about having to study again. So I was really irritable & PMS-sy and hated everything that reminded me of school, thus the bitchy formspring replies that I must apologise for :( I still can remember being in the same position as the Olevel freshgrads just a year ago...I was so confused and worried and it was really a huge decision to make. Nevertheless, just want to say that no matter where you end up in, never regret your decision and make the best out of your circumstances. (okay, a bit hypocritical since I'm always complaining but I've always been a bad example anyway so just erm, do the opposite of what I do HAHAHA)

Because I was still in my BUBBLE, I decided to take a break from school (I'm like bloody sick of school after a mere week), I went to work today HAHAHA. After ceasing work in mid dec to enjoy my hols full on, I've decided that I kinda miss work & I've been craving yogurt & purchasing insanely expensive yogurt! (any yogurt that's not free or 50% priced are all insanely expensive now hahaha). So there you go, all the camwhoring pix with Valenmelon!! I'M FEELING SO DEPRESSED NOW. SCHOOL IS STARTING IN 8H. I've never dreaded school SO MUCH in my entire life before. I was one who looked forward to meeting my friends, to eating the school food, to learning new things & simply to the idea of being in the school compound be it in primary or secondary school but now...I just can't seem to dig out that sense of anticipation & excitement. No matter how hard I try to search for a spark of optimism about school...all I can find is an umbrella of dread. I don't even know why I'm hating school so much!! My classmates are lovely & my library is 3 storeys high & my CCA is so awesome & the yong tau foo/fish soup so nice...Maybe it's the fear of not being able to perform well or the idea of facing all the judgements and shit all over again. IDK why I can never ever feel comfortable in school? I keep having the impression that the whole world despises me(although nobody has shown any signs of that BUT THEY MIGHT JUST BE DAMN GOOD @ CONCEALING IT) Oh mannn, my own insecurity is killing me.

Actually the only thing that I'm looking forward to is to sew my outfit for Rproj2012, Mememto Mori! Just met up with Amanda to shop @ OM before purchasing our materials for Awakening theme @ People's Park Complex. Such impulse buys oh my~ But I'm quite happy to say that I've managed to get most of the stuff I need to complete my outfit!! All I need is a hot model & better sequins & I'm ready to rolllll~ My 2nd outfit is not finalised yet though..my design doesn't seem very feasible to me now hmmm...Can't decide between Animalistic and Apocalypse still :s Both themes are so fun to deal with!

SPEAKING OF OM BUYS, I'M DAMN SHOCKED TO OPEN MY WARDROBE & REALISE THAT 3/4 OF THE STUFF ARE SO FOREIGN TO ME D: I must have been a very lonely girl~ Instead of going on dates, I've actually spent the entire holidays shopping with my girlfriends D: & all the impulse buys must have been committed to feel up the emptiness in me or what-so-ever (that's what emo people do right?! shop?!) The stuff that I bought are so pretty, unique and funky that I doubt I'll ever have the chance to wear them..Given my current circumstances, by that, I mean ermmm I have to wear my green high waist skirt & button up white shirt with rolled up sleeves IE MY SCHOOL UNIFORM 5/7 days a week and during weekends, I'll probably be decked in some oversized tees T.T SO IF ANYONE IS WILLING TO BUY MY BRAND NEW ITEMS @ A DISCOUNTED PRICE, LEAVE A COMMENT ON MY FS!! 5 comments & I'll start posting up the photos!! Super pretty stuff!

Chalet with the 4/5 kids had been super fun even though I fell sick on the first day...I blame Jiayi for passing her virus to me!!! But actually I was totally asking for it...all those nights out & all those fried food & alcohol...I was bound to collapse sooner or later & drinking Jiayi's saliva was just a catalyst. Even though I missed the BBQ, I had a lot of a fun catching up with the girls & I'm so glad that nobody changed at all!! Maybe I was so comfortable being around them that I can't stand the idea of putting up a front in school again...

Hi gaize! Sorry for the eye-kill act-pretty snapshots of me on my first post of 2012 hahahaha. I'm so tired right now but I shall do a quick update before I disappear off to chalet for the next couple of days! New yr's eve was spent singing kbox with peipeizxz! We were struggling with the chinese songs at first because we couldn't read 50% of the words but we were still tryna sing in a super emotional & showy concert style...Try to picture that, it's quite funny really HAHA. Eventually, we found the english songs & started getting really high when we shout-sang Avril Lavigne songs!!! Was so mad that they cut off our system right before we were gonna sing Hollaback Girl!! HOW CAN ONE NOT SING HOLLABACK GIRL?! IT'S THE ULTIMATE HIGH SONG D: Haha anyway we had lots our fun hehehe although my singing sucks but whatever makes me happy right?! Met Peishi for dinner afterwards before Mandy & Vivian joined us. Had to made our way to Fullerton Hotel during the peak hour right before 12am! It was like some crazily challenging amazing race & our aim is to get to our destination before countdown. After going in circles due to the crazy human traffic & restrictive barricades, WE REACHED RYAN'S HOTEL ROOM @ 12 AM SHARP AND WATCHED THE FIREWORKS IN THE BEST VIEW EVER D: So shockingly pretty omggg. Felt so fortunate to be there @ the hotel party! But it got really foggy after a while. Spent the rest of the night drinking & talking to the girls & random people. Everyone was like either making out or emo & I kinda spent the night entertaining people whom I probably wouldn't have entertained that well if I were more sober. The girls were really super nice tho & we took care of one another. Was really tired the next day but I went home and caught a couple of hours of sleep before heading out to the flyers to meet Peizxsz & Jay! Bought a few stuff & spent the evening having HTHT. Had tuition today before meeting a friend @ bux who presented me with a surprise apple strudel from ritz :O That kinda made my day hahaha. Met peizxs & Jay to have dindinz @ chompchomp & crashed jay's house. That summed up the beginning of my 2012 & at this rate, I guess it can only get better :)

Best of 2011

HI!!! It's currently 36min more to the last day of year 2011 & here I am, doing my annual reflection. This year is a particularly significant year for me as I felt that I've actually grown and matured. Being in a completely different surrounding has resulted in initial struggles and unhappiness. However, I'm glad that it made me stronger than ever and more ready to take on more challenges in future.

& Yes, I'm talking about enrolling in RIJC. I can never mention enough how it changed my life. I can't help but think about my position at this time of the year in 2010. I was all eager to embark on a new phrase in life but never had I ever thought that I would actually be able (& willing) to get into the 'best JC in Singapore'. I am really in luck I'm constantly reminded of what a privilege I'm enjoying & how I have to put in my best efforts to not let myself down. Time & time again I wondered if I'll be better off in another school...but I've grew to be thankful of my position & appreciate what I have.

The above is the first snapshot taken in school and surrounding me are my Orientation Groupmates, the very first people I've interacted with. To tell the truth, although most of them are really lovely, I was rather disappointed with the impression of Rafflesians they presented (or rather a handful of them?) & I never did truthfully enjoy orientation. I just couldn't shake of the uncomfortable feeling that I'm being constantly judged and forced to be someone I'm not used to be. Not to mention I was extremely Anderson sick, so Anderson sick that I've cried a couple of times. I took to hanging out with clique whenever time allowed us to gather.

These are the amazing people that I'll never grow sick of. I can be myself around them & being in their company makes me comfortable & thankful that I've them around despite all the shit life offers.

& of course, the annual awkward family portrait that we snap every CNY. It's always heart warming to know that despite all the changes that have been taking place at an exponential rate, the things that truly matter to me will always remain constant. Although I was almost never at home, never any spare time to spend with my family, it's extremely comforting to know that I will always have them & that they will always love me for who I am, no matter how flawed I am and how mad I've made them.

Take 5 marked the end of our OG gatherings I guess? I kinda miss some of them like Jazzy & Nimin but some how I'm glad to be free from all the stress of trying to fit into some place where I don't belong to and where people try to keep me out of. Maybe I'm being overly sensitive but my sentiments tend to be accurate.

The beginning of the awesome 12A01D!!! I really love my classmates, from the bottom of my heart! I felt much more comfortable around them and they are so fun and entertaining everyday! Maybe it's the all famous 'arts student' thing. We're known to be extremely retarded, fun & ermmm...'slack'. Hehe. Ting (not in the photo) is my study buddy & her kindness never fails to impress me. Sab is my lovely twin of another race!! We look alike, experience the same affairs of the heart & go everywhere together. The cool thing is that along with Sean and Jaime, they are my PW groupmates!! Needless to say, it was a really tight and close group and their company really made all the shit work much better. Also, there are extremely hardworking and generous people like Stuffy & Shee, who will always help us in our work and share their materials with us. Danish is no doubt the best chairperson, always there for everyone and putting a smile on our faces with all his nonsense. I'm so thankful that I'm in 1D and it me feel that life in RJ doesn't suck that much after all hehe.

Anderson Speech Day & I went back to my Alma Matter in my oversized blazer to collect my trophy for my 'outstanding Olevels score'. & I cried that night because I was extremely hurt by my friends, whom instead of being happy for me, were throwing in all sorts of sarcasm that implied that I could no longer fit in with them. Whether they meant it or not, I felt that it was really unfair & fucking mean & honestly speaking, a part of me can never forget how bad I've felt. But I guess there's a price to pay for every good thing that happens? & this is my price I guess...

Raffles Runway Exco 2011! I'm not proud to say that I got my first leadership position at aged 17 HAHA. I was never a prefect nor a chairperson be it in primary or in secondary school. I was so shocked that I've managed to survive a panel interview and smoke myself into the position of a quartermistress in a CCA that I truly enjoy and is proud to be in ^^ Fashion has always been my passion & I'm glad that I can finally put my bimboticity (self-created word) to good use hahahaha.

Class camp to Mt Ophir! It was freaking fun but challenging. I almost died several times while trekking I'M NOT KIDDING. The mountain was so freaking steep & we only had an occasional flimsy rope to hold on to!! So you could easily slip and fall to your freaking death in a bloody jungle in MALAYSIA OKAY. I was so unusually quiet throughout the journey because I was concentrating so hard on not dying I'm serious. T.T BUT, we all scrambled up a waterfall with the help of one another and almost all of us had a shot at abseiling down the waterfall! The class bonding was so amazinggg & when everyone shared their life stories, we cried for one another. I love my classmates. Hahaha.

Sometimes I get so emo & I really miss this girl :( We kinda survived through Olevels together, studying together, checking on each other todo-lists, phoning each other to nag at the other person to do GEOG essays & we were so happy for each other that both our performance exceeded expectations eventually! But that was the only day we met up because she's so busy with her commitments :( She's one that I'll never forget even if I completely lose contact with her forever...

ALSO, I'VE MADE MY VERY FIRST DRESS FROM SCRATCH :D I've spent 70 bux on the materials :( But I'm soooo glad that the final product DOES resemble a dress & not some frock put together by a few pieces of clothes hehe. I'm also happy with the fact that I finally own a sewing machine ^^ Not that I actually use it often but it kinda...empowers me!? THE IRONY RIGHT?! Since sewing is associated with docile powerless housewives...(according to the lit texts...)

In June I've finally stepped out of Asia for the first time in my life..IKR SO PHAILZXS. But poor kids like me don't get to travel unless it's heavily subsidized by my insanely wealthy school, heheezxs. I've met many awesome people on the trip & grew much closer to sabsabzxs!! Visiting the colleges in USA also inspired me to study hard & clinch a scholarship to study abroad..hmmm...

NOT FORGETTING MY KINAHBELLA OF COURSE?! So sad that I've only met her less than 5 times this year, despite all our promises to keep in close contact :( But each time I met her I felt like nothing has changed & there was no such thing as a distance between us. Miss her aplenty & she's still bloody entertaining I swear :') Haha and I chopped off my waist length hair for the first time in 4 years.

Thank god I still see Jiayi & Zoey often during tuition!! If not I would miss them a lot too T.T

I've also managed to accomplished my ahlian dream of working @ Frolick HAHAHA. When I was younger, there were a few things I told myself I HAD TO ACCOMPLISH BEFORE I HIT 18!!! Because these are the things you can only get away with doing if you're young & reckless!

1) Get nose/helix/tragus piercings (checked)

2) Curl my hair (checked)

3) Dye my hair bright red (NOT YET!!!!!!! D: but I had pink streaks for a while, I guess that suffices)

4) Do illegal/underaged stuff (CHECKED HAHAHA)

5) Get better Olevel scores than the people who called me an ahlian & thought that I'm damn stupid (CHECKED UPYOURASS)

6) Work at Frolick!!! SPECIFICALLY FROLICK!! hahaha when I was 15 I used to buy Frolick with Ben & I can't help but be annoyed with the Frolick girls because they are so pretty & cool & I kept wondering if he secretly wished that they are his gf instead!! So I was all determined that I have to become a Frolick girl in future even though I'm neither pretty nor cool BUT I JUST WANNA BE ONE SO THAT MY LIFE WILL BE COMPLETE. Hahaha yeah, & then I realised that working in Frolick is nothing. All the myths are false & the girls are FREAKING NICE, SMART & AWESOME!! :D I LOVE THEM!!

Facilitated for a children's camp for the first time!! (A lot of first times this year right?! So much exposure :o) It was an awesome experience! So much so that I've discovered my liking for kids & triggered my decision to join Vive with Weilin! :D To spend more time with her doing meaningful things!!! (actually no, I joined to see SENG IAN AGAIN HAHAHAHAHA LOOK AT THE HANDSOME BOY THAT I'M HUGGING OMG??!?!!?!?!?!?! SO HANDSOME I WANNA ABDUCT HIM!!)

Been hanging out with Andersonians that I wasn't even close to back then!! Peishi & Peijun are both damn lovely & I realised that I'm kinda similar to them in a sense that I could open up to them easily.

That pretty much marked the end of my 2011!!!! Quite exciting right?! HAHA. No serious heartbreaks or major problems this year. I've met plenty of amazing friends of all sorts & I do hope to keep them :> I'm not really looking forward to 2012...a year of mugging for As :( But it would also be rather exciting for I'll finally be legal ^^ That's all for now!!! MERRY XMAS

This year's xmas was slightly more eventful that previous ones. On the 23rd, I met peipeizxs to make a trip down to Oakham to shop~ Hehehe we like forever shopping omgz. & We queued for like 15min in darkness to get in (wai sho exclusive right?!) & after getting our stuff, we were stuck outside for 30min & in times of desperation, we contemplated pulling all sorts of nonsense like stealing someone's umbrella HAHAHA WIN. It was quite exciting actually hehehe. In the end, we decided to make a more rational decision of going back into the store to shop more while waiting for the rain to stop & needless to say, we spent more. Tsk, look what the rain did to our wallets x.x Aftermath, I rushed down to Compass Point to meet Weilin (poor thing sia she waited for me for half an hour :( ). We grabbed gifts for the xmas gift exchange & head down to SKCC for our Camp Esportes appreciation dinner & stayover party. THE FOOD WAS DAMN GOOD HEHEHE. We hung out with the usuals - Ruth, Hazel & Min Lin but they left so we just tried to mingled around & I question my social skill man. Itz k. We did retarded stuff together like playing captain's ball with a tiny ball & with water bombs, played water games, sang karaoke & played mahjong. Quite funnnn! & me and Weilin had finally decided to join Vive.

We sang till like 9am & I had to rush back home before peipeizsx came over at about 11! Had branch & we cab down to Scape with our luggages to set up our flea booth. After Xinlin & Peishi came we somehow managed to steal the booth beside us so we have a double set of chairs and tables. HAHA SMARTKIDZ9394 PLEASE. Business was quite slow at first & my platforms died so I had to grab a new pair of low heels from Mitju (which is half damaged now too, after a night of trekking around chinatown/ clarke quay).We all went crazy at about 7pm & kept shouting all sorts of stuff to attract customers to buy our stuff. (especially me & peishi HAHAHA. OUR EPIC 'LELONG LELONG CHEAP CHEAP DUPER CHEAP) Ended up selling majority of our items at 1buck each WTH HAHA. & xinlin is a super pro business woman can, still got 'buy how many items will get free gifts' all HAHA. After the flea, me and Peishi dumped our stuff at her place, met her friend Mandy & queued for Rebel BUT I GOT BOUNCED OUT FML HAHAHA. We really thought we were damn smart but evidently not quite :( Had Macs & drank @ clarke quay for a bit before heading down to chinatown to meet others. It was quite fun & the company was freaking entertaining omggg. So after 3 nights of no sleep, we went home to sleep for a couple of hours before heading out for steamboat @ bugis! Quite an eventful xmas! ^^

I went shopping with peiszxx & jay & I bought lots of stuff! I dragged them all the way to arab street to eat ZAM ZAM's BEEF MURTABAK with me!! (must caplock it because it's really ze best...not sure if they felt the same though :S) Then I dragged them all the way back to visit Eunice & Cass @ Frolick & just lepak there the whole time having our htht while eating chocolate yogurt (fml the chocolate yogurt so good how come the main outlets don't have?! :O ) ^^ BEST THING IS, MY F21 PARCEL JUST ARRIVED!!! YAY! My CNY clothes + pei's super cute beanie & pullover :D

Forever and Always

It's one of those rainy nights that you feel lonely and disconnected with the rest of the world. I don't know why I kept feeling that something is amiss. I should be kinda contended with life right now shouldn't I? I'm in a really good school with the best facilities & positive influences, I have a fun job that provides me the opportunity to meet a lot of awesome like minded girls whom I soon grew to be really good friends with, I'm not suffering from any heartbreaks/ unrequited love, my family is generally healthy & doing fine..But I kept feeling so empty I don't know if I should just bury myself in my studies, go sleep the days away, go for a long jog, work continuously for consecutive days to keep myself occupied you know, do anything to stop feeling like shit? But truth is that I've attempted all of the above & I'm just really tired and restless I don't know what else to do. I would like to talk to someone but really, there's no one to talk to.

People tend to think that I'm being really ridiculous because my life SEEMS to be better than average but really, it isn't. I would give anything to be somebody else. I would think of my inferiority, my countless number of flaws. I'm too insecure, too vain, too proud, too flamboyant, too loud @ times, too awkward @ times, too clumsy, too insensitive, too lazy, too self-centred, too superficial. I don't think anyone who really knows me well enough can stand being around me. I wouldn't like someone like me. I kept having the niggling thoughts that all my friendships are pretty much superficial & that nobody actually like me or consider me their close friends? The thing is that I guess I can be a pretty good judge of character because I see everyone's flaws really quickly & accurately but I guess I can also be really quick to accept them? I believe that once they are my friends, I would learn to love them and accept their slightly annoying traits. What if mine are too overbearing to be overlooked? What if nobody can stand being around me? My mum keeps telling me that I have a long way to go and much to change. My tuition teacher tells me that no decent guys will see anything in me. When I tell my friends about my insecurities, they'll just shrug it off and tell me not to be silly 'Jas you're really awesome, cheer uppp'. Fuck that's not true. That's just a really bad attempt to shake me off & free themselves from my ramblings BECAUSE I KNOW THAT WHATEVER I SAID ABOUT MYSELF IS TRUE AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. Fuck it hurts so much that I'm such a flawed being & that I don't know how to change that.

Why are some people so different from the rest? In Raffles, the girls are well brought up in English speaking families and are talented, bright and could carry themselves very well. I've always wanted to be like Jaime, Ting Fang or Ange. They're really intelligent, graceful, pleasant and kind. Sometimes I feel so inferior around them that I wonder if they're secretly looking down on me and sympathising me for being so uncouth, awkward and embarrassing. Honestly speaking, if I have a daughter, I would want her to end up like them. I would be so proud of her and nothing else would make my life more complete. (hahaha omg imagine their reaction when they read this but don't worry I'm pretty sure no Rafflesians read my blog so I'm free to rant) But the thing is that most Rafflesians are also extremely sheltered and protected so they don't really understand the less privileged people in the world and may never will. Neighbourhood school kids get to experience much more. You can say that I'm more comfortable around the Anderson girls because the good thing about a neighbourhood school is the (relative) openness, the friendly atmosphere and the lack of the need to put on a pretence. Henceforth, I always have the impression that neighbourhood school kids are much easier to get along with & you don't really have to worry about them judging you because really, they don't. Everything is a lot less complicated. As for the Frolick girls, they're all similar & different at the same time. I've met poly girls, uni girls etc and they are all really nice & extremely pretty. I'm so glad that I've worked at Frolick because I get to hear about so much more, like the poly life I'll never get to experience and my future life in a university. & I'm particular impressed by Ena! She is a really bubbly & cute girl who works 3 jobs to pay for her school fees @ RP and her other expenses like shopping, clubbing etc. & she never ever complaint about being tired and sick of working. I wanna be as enduring and independent as her! I'm thankful that my very diverse circles of friends have allowed me to grow up a little more and broaden my perspectives.

On top of that, the kids camp that I've just facilitated at had also changed my mindsets about certain issues. Me and Weilin kept talking about how we want our kids to be (& NOT to be) that I'm pretty certain that all we need are decent husbands for us to raise up awesome kids. HAHA. I think it's a little disturbing that at age 17, I've already given up on bettering myself and is looking forward to raise a kid that will accomplish all that I've failed to x.x Oh god I'm a failure @ age 17. I need to focus on completing my education and haunting for a good husband because I've just read some issues about Women Rights & that how EDUCATION OF THE MOTHER IS VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT TO THE KID'S WELL-BEING. I'M GOING TO WORK TOWARDS BEING A GOOD MOTHER. (oh I'm fucking weird I swear. Told you I can't stand myself. Previously I'm a brat, now I'm all motherly. I've just matured 30 years in a short span of an hour...?!)

I've always been super irritated when guys hit on me when I'm working. I'm not unaware that every single Frolick girl is prettier than me and had it been another girl there working at that time, he would be hitting on her instead. Okay scrap that, even if the girl is NOT pretty AT ALL and that she has make up on and is looking really bimbotic with a i-have-fucking-no-choice-but-to-beam-at-you-enthusiastically face & a white cap/REINDEER EARS, a really despo guy would STILL hit on her. So dude, who are you kidding? Chuu givin' moi egoboost? Thanks but no thanks, & too bad that most Frolick girls are actually QUITE SMART DESPITE THE FALSE IMAGE PRESENTED (definitely smart enough to realise this) so better luck next time. Nevertheless, I still do extremely embarrassing things in the name of Frolick like borrowing chargers from the shops next door & asking for discounts as 'I work in the same building' with my faked bimbotic whiney voice 3 notches higher than my usual one. Who cares right? You can only live once and be a yogurt girl ONCE (you can't do that when you're 30 so why not make full use of it when you're young albeit ugly & fat?!) Just have some fun and it's not like anybody is gonna remember when you're out of your apron.

Anyway, I guess I've made enough money for my own expenditure (really, I'm so proud of the fact that I'm so independent and that I've not spent ANY GUY'S money AT ALL this holidays. I didn't even go on any dates at all I'm all girlfriends4lyfe right now. Studying Women in Lit has really done me some good. I'm all feminist-why-da-hell-should-i-depend-on-a-dude now. Okay I'm kidding & being melodramatic. You can also say that I'm getting so fat that nobody wanna date me now because that's closer to the truth. hahaha.). OKAY, back to what I was about to say. I think I'm ready to stop working for a period of time, and start to build up my study momentum in prep for the big year ahead. I've had enough fun and experiences and free yogurt to last me for some time now. On top of settling down, I would also like to spend the remaining of my holidays actually having fun with my friends, catching up with them and doing the things that I love. (okay that leaves NO TIME for studying but I'll try!)

Last but not least, I've finally ditched the idea of taking my SATs in Jan with Ting! I figured that studying abroad would be too costly for my parents (they needa pay for my bro's private uni too I cannot use up all their money!!). Therefore, I'm just gonna concentrate on my As and getting into SMU business (idk why SMU business either but sounds erm, promising..& relatively closer to my dream of having my own boutique-cafe though I wouldn't need any education if I have the capital to open it RIGHT NOW in comparison to something like NUS law?) & if I'm bored after As, I can always take my SATs then! For better or for worse?

Hi! Before you judge me for the really bimbotic photo (with me being a yoghurt girl looking really pleased with the giant red bow on my head), I NEED TO ANNOUNCE THAT I'VE SURVIVED A KIDS CAMP THAT LASTED 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS - LOOKING AFTER 10 HYPERACTIVE KIDS ~ CHEERS TO JASMINE JIE JIE OKAY?!?!?!

I was @ a sports camp for kids that was held in Seng Kang CC & organised by Bryan (my tutor who's 2 years older & whom I rely heavily on). I must say that the camp really drained every single bit of energy out of me but it was an amazing experience. I was so shocked that the kids were REALLY REALLY pampered (albeit cute & extremely eloquent, eloquent in a i-say-pardon-instead-of-HUH way, you get the idea. for god's sake they're 4-11 years old!!) There was supposed to be 2 other facilitators in my group - Weilin (whom I dragged to camp with me) & Wenjia who happens to be badminton senior back in andss. BUT WENJIA COULDNT MAKE IT SO WE 2 CLUELESS FIRST-TIMERS HAD TO CONTROL THE KIDS ALL BY OURSELVES. & they were really a rowdy bunch. Either our facilitating was so terrible or they're naughty enough to be able to come in last out of 10 groups. We were really really lacking of experience in terms of interacting with the kids. It's not easy to judge whether it was appropriate to shout at them or to persuade them to follow instructions for the former seems like an easier way out but the latter seems like the right thing to do as I'm very well aware that it sucks to be screamed at & I myself is the type who'll bear a grudge and hate the person who scolded me hahahaha (okay don't judge please. don't tell me you're not pissed when someone scream at you repeatedly) It was really a challenge & I'm damn glad we've made it through together w/o erm, losing a kid during amazing race @ pasir ris park or erm, crying along with the kids out of exasperation.

I'll blog more about the camp if I'm able to get my hands on the camp photos because rambling about the activities of the camp & my campcandies don't really make sense w/o visual aids. I NEED TO INTRODUCE JENNIS & JOSHUA (this super cute pair of kids in my group who hang out together shyly. Jennis is the prettiest, nicest, glamest, sportiest 7 yr old I've ever seen & Joshua has a freaking ANGMO ACCENT. He's fav line is 'oh man, I didn't see that coming' LIKE WTH HOW TO SCOLD HIM FOR SPILLING HIS DRINK? Speaking of Apple of my Eye, I'VE FINALLY GOT AROUND TO WATCHING IT IN THE THEATRE ON THURSDAY! I've actually watched it with Andrew, Gangyi & Marzouq - a mini econs trip kidz outing but everyone couldn't make it in the end. So I was bawling non-stop from the start of the movie till the end. So heartbroken that the main characters weren't a pair in the end WHEN THEY'RE FREAKING MEANT TO BE!!!

Anyway all that glitter is not gold. I was so happy working @ Milennia Walk with the huge bow on my head & with the awesome new girl Jeanette when I pissed a customer off & she actually lodged a complain to the office, claiming that I was being very sarcastic to her. After getting told off by my boss's mother & my HR, I was in a rage mood I swear. I kinda simmered down after a while & accept that it's really my fault anyway so I kinda deserve the discredits. It brought me to realise how cruel the real world is. When you're a kid & you're angry, you complain to your mummy or daddy and demand justice. When you're a teenager, you rant all over twitter in a not very clean language (eg curse the fugly yoghurt girl to be single4eva,). You wish no harm to anyone you see? You're just expressing your displeasure. But things changed when you're older. You bother writing a complain to the office even though you know that you could have gotten the girl fired & maybe that's what you want, to avenge yourself for being slightly humiliated. Sucks to be an adult.

Highlight of the week: King Richard III play @ Esplanade w/12A01D!! :D The play was amazing although our seats weren't exactly the fantastic (circle 3, mind you!) The cast even came to our school for a informal Q&A session with us a couple of days later. I've watched several opening of the plays beforehand & I must say that Kevin Spacey did one of the best acts!! & I admire how he sustained his leg deformity throughout the 3.5h. AND I LOVE THE PERCUSSION!! It was a really awesome play & I need to kick myself for drifting in and out of sleep for the 2nd hour because the muffled dialogues were really getting to me. This is quite different experience from Shakespeare in the Park @ Fort Canning (watched Much Ado About Nothing in 2009 & Hamlet earlier this year) but I enjoy both all the same ^^. But I got a feeling studying the play for the whole of next year wouldn't be easy. Sigh :( p-e-s-e-r-v-e-r-e

WAIT WAIT, MY 2ND HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK WAS BLACK FRIDAY HAHAHAHAHA. I came across a crazy F21 spree & I got peizxs to shop with me online! Just sent in our orders yesterday, can't wait to receive them already!! Online shopping is always so exciting: the anticipation & the ripping apart the parcel is...omg can't describe the feeling. What's with me sounding like some compulsive shopaholic man. I'm ashamed of myself.

I WANNA BUY THEM FOR MY NIECES AND NEPHEWS D: But they cost like 50 bux minimum ahh I would..rather spend the money on myself hahahaha. My nieces and nephews would just have to wait till I earn big bux in 10 years' time. Opps, by then they wouldn't be kids anymore, would they?! It's okay I can buy for my bro's future kids!

WE HAD CHINATOWN STREET FOOD!! The tangyuans too awesome already omgggg!! There're like 5 tangyuans in diff flavours. We shared a bowl initially but I couldn't take it & went to buy another bowl hehehe pigz is me. & We shared every single tangyuans. Like sweet right, 1 tiny glutinous ball shared by 3 people HAHAHA. Illy's rasberry & cheese cupcake taste delicious too! & the dubious looking white thing is my pau hehe. It's quite an unique pau - steam pork & veggie inside! (& yes, I've dropped my no-pork diet. I couldn't be bothered la omg screw the worms. I shall only pick up that diet again when I'm seeing a muslim or something)

Influx of candies delivered to me while I was working on Fri! :D It's depressing to say how I'm kinda excited because I've not received such treats for a while, (emogal94). So thoughtful of him right! Then he had to proceed on to remind me what happened outside my workplace 2 years ago. Tsk tsk.

This week has been rather eventful- I started working @ Frolick Cathay, my bro got enlisted & after an intense week of OP prep, my OP was finally over on Friday.What was constantly on my mind was that time is wasted. Time is always wasted & there'll never be enough time. I miss my brother & wondered why I chose to busied myself with work the days before he got enlisted. I did badly for OP & regretted wasting all my time reading and re-reading my written report & practising my speech so many times each day. & now I'm beginning to think that working isn't exactly a good idea. My next week's schedule is pretty much crazy. I'm working for 5 days and have to be in school for 2 lectures. & lately I'm so tired that I can't even read my books, not to mention start on any revision. Time is running out & I need to train myself to be a superhuman. I thought that working would force me to spend my remaining free time wisely - doing the work that I'm supposed to be doing instead of idling & surfing the promotion sections of the blogshops I frequent for hours and hours, slipping into my all too familar I-don't-feel-like-doing-anything mood. I have even abandoned my jogging routine. & I feel so distant from everyone :(

Ranting aside, I can't believe that my PW journey had came to an end. After all those intense online discussions till 4am, all the meetings during the holidays, after school & even during exams period, we have finally stripped ourselves of this monstrous burden. Every time I heard other groups complain about their members, looking for their missing members & grumbling about having to work together, I felt so thankful that my group is so bonded! We went everywhere and did everything together. We have grown so close that the journey was actually enjoyable at some point in time. Seriously!! Which other group huddle together & take cute polaroids right after OP?! You tell me! Alright, I know all that I-love-my-group gushing is pretty cheesy (& pointless actually, because nobody in my group/class/school ever reads my blog. & in fact, I have no idea who does hahaha *awkward cough*). But I just want to remember these people & how much I love them. Anyway, a few 1D-ians & I went for some celebratory dinner @ Manhattan Fish Market after OP & the serving is so maddeningly tiny wth D:

& work as actually enjoyable too! Okay maybe my life isn't as bad as I've inevitably made it sound in my long intro-rant about my permanent fatigue & wasting of time. I've met really interesting and nice Frolick girls. I like swirling yoghurt (though I'm still doing a really horrible job out of it. I feel so bad that I have to try to place the toppings strategically to hide the ugliness) & I even find joy in pounding oreos & cutting strawberries too. Most of the time I feel like an amateur - really clumsy and giving trouble to my co-worker :( & I feel like one fat pig who's eating continuously throughout my shift x.x & I don't even work out anymore!!! Okay all in all I like my job so faaaar. (have not gotten into any trouble or met any fussy customers/ intimidating Frolick girls yeettt, fingers cross)

Alright, shall turn in to get enough rest for work tmr xx (no really, actually I'm turning in now because I'm starting to get hungry & I must stop the midnight snacking, the size of my stomach is almost getting me into the Guinness World Records.)

Yet another uneventful week is coming to an end. Seems like I'm wasting my ever so precious free period of my JC life but a part of me kind of enjoy the serenity and good rest. I'm in a constant inner conflict between craving company and craving solitude. Sometimes I really feel like going out and have fun but I'm always deter by the fact that most of my friends aren't exactly thrill about having fun (or they're just skeptical about my idea of fun or they just have no time for me lor, due to my lack of importance in their lives), then I question myself what my idea of fun exactly is hmmm... More often than not, I weigh the satisfaction I'll get from a shopping trip against that of a long reading session. A shopping trip has its opportunity cost (size of my shopping bags inversely proportional to that of my rusting Guess purse) while a reading session has none, if I coop myself at home & read- which is kinda unlikely. So a reading session ALSO has an opportunity cost - when I read outside & spend money on an overpriced sandwich/ ice cream/ frappe (in the case, the size of my stomach is inversely proportional to that of that same sad purse). THEREFORE, I deduced that since the size of my purse is ALWAYS an issue in life (my life, at least), I DECIDED TO GO AHEAD & GET A JOB :D That way, I'm spending time productively (with the size of my purse directly proportional to my working hours finallyyy) & I might even enjoy work since I'm the type of person who can enjoy anything as long as I put my heart to it.

Anyway, I'm really excited about work, which will start next week :D Don't judge, but I'm officially gonna be a Frolick girl. :D It's not as easy as it looks though. I've always thought that serving yoghurt is an extremely brainless job but apparently there's a lot to learn & I didn't catch half the stuff during the training (plus there're heavy consequences if you make a mistake or piss a bitchy customer off ie PAY DOCK) :S But I guess (pray that) it would be fun nevertheless! & I've already met a few really awesome girls during interview & training, good start I'll say^^

Okay other that work, I'm gonna read a lot & watch a lot of shows. I still can't decide if I'm an introvert or an extrovert D: & I definitely show signs of bipolarity. I'm always, always struggling in self-conflicts. ie the fat me who badly wanna be skinny VS the also fat me who cares more about sleep & food than being skinny. So can you imagine being a constant daily struggle of whether to eat that extra waffle or whether to wake up at 7am on a non-school day to jog?! The horror. No wonder my sanity is getting more and more questionable by the day. Hence, the long ramblings on my blog that don't actually make any sense or bear any significance, come to think of it.

Anyway, below is a photospam taken with Weilin last Sunday! We had a makan trip to Bukit Timah & indulged in the most sinful desserts while we catch up. I was also thankful for her DSLR, which allowed my blog to contain some photos of decent quality instead of some random photos taken with my itouch (since I'm more often than not, too lazy to even bring my compact cam out) in the disguise of vintage looking effects to mask the poor quality. & the best part was Aleithia's dropping by with a very pleasant surprise.We couldn't stop talking about how genuinely happy we are for her!! Speaking of food, I'm currently suffering from a series of gastric pains. & I totally deserve it for screwing up my mealtimes today. I had a huge chicken bun in the morning, then peanut flavoured waffle for post-breakfast, no lunch, lotus flavour bread + jap salad + banana for early dinner + papayas with cereal & yoghurt for post-dinner + milk with butter & jam sandwich for supper an hour ago when my gastric has started being a bitch. I have no idea how anorexic girls survive. (but apparently they do!!! I know of a lot of them ie half the girls from my school. I'm wholeheartedly impressed! like how the fuck you starve & still be so smart wth. My brain can't even function when I'm slightly hungry) Sigh. Sucks to be me.

HI KIDS! HAPPY HALLOWEEN :D Hehehe is our new bestie in the pix lovely? Not so @ first glance right. We didn't hit it off initially either. She bloody hell freaked me when she popped out beside me and started following us around scape. We were there for to sell merchandise for Soap for Hope CIP. (repeat after me 50x in a super girly & gross voice with a bright salesgirl smile plastered on: "Hi do you wanna purchase snacks to support the low income families? We have brownies, oreos and pop corns!") Yeah I was being really annoying and I was actually annoyed with myself but I have no idea how to do it in a non-annoying way. ILLY WAS DAMN GOOD THOUGH!! She sold the most & someone even offered her a marketing job!! WIIIN!! Oh so our job mainly consist of us walking around scape/cine/along orchard road with a basket full of snacks & trying really hard to convince strangers to do a good deed (& suffer from a lot of teasing by random group of guys). It was quite fun actually, hehe. Quite a meaningful way to spend a Sunday afternoon with awesome company! There were a few other ghostly friends there and they were our age! So cool :( I wanna work as one too!! Get paid to scare people, omg good life.

We got all our results back during protected time on Monday & it was the first time our entire class turn up for flag raising. My results were..disappointing..like below average. Don't really wanna talk about it since I'm pretty sure I've done my best in my revisiion. I just wasn't on form on the exam days themselves due to fatigue or something. I need exam condition myself & improve on my handwriting..Something I've been wanting to do since upper sec because my form teacher used to make fun of my handwriting in front of the entire class. But then again, I never did bother about saving face or whatever so I just laughed along & let my handwriting dieeee. BUT NO, the old cambridge dudes who will be marking my essays next year will just get really pissed off & give me a U for every single paper. Not a laughing matter anymore arghh. So my main goal of the hols is to make my handwriting legible. No need to be pretty or cursive or standard size whatever yknow, JUST LEGIBLE FOR GOD'S SAKE WHY IS IT SO HARD :((((((

Okay on Tuesday, me and sabzxs went to lepak @ nex HAHA. Such a secondary school lianz/minahz after school activity :p (& we lepak @ j8 yesterday omg why so free) But not really yknow, we had a purpose- to conjure up a birthday goodie bag for Fadhli. After stuffing ourselves with polar chicken puff & a looot of sogurt + posing with kiddies brolly & booties for the cammy, we finally got down to task. Very satisfied with the end result haha. BUT YKNOW, THE KIDZ STUFF ARE REALLY DAMN CUTE OMG. Can't wait to have a pair of twins so that I can name them Jacia & Japthen & make them wear adorable matching outfits!! (minus the pregnancy & labour process)

You know today, I went for acupuncture. I was supposed to see the doc for my indigestion issues. It's getting pretty bad now my stomach's the size of the mountain & I'm very repulsed by meat. Okay it's not that bad actually, my appetite is still monstrous but I just needed to detox (make room for more food shhh). So I randomly REQUESTED for acupuncture 'cause I'm guessing it's more effective than meds for sure & I've always been curious to experience the feeling of having needles stuck all over my body. The doc asked me to come back another day when I'm mentally prepared but I was all gungho & went HUH WHAT'S THERE TO PREPARE? I WANNA DO IT NOW :) Since I've always taken pride in my self-assumed high threshold for pain. & I'm not proud @ all to say that my first experience with acupuncture isn't amazing @ all. I was in a tense and uncomfortable position when she started sticking needles all over me & I wanted to shift to a better position but boooy it was a really bad idea. I couldn't move @ all & every attempt to move was excruciating. & the doc was really mean to me, she was all "okay enjoy the needles bye" So I guess I was stuck in that position for 15 min & suffered from a few spasm along the way. & my body still feels really weird now. Like numb & feeble :o & the areas that have needles stuck in them previously feel a bit sore, bruised & tingling. Sigh. But if it proves to be effective I don't mind doing it again hehe.

Previously, I was all for losing weight. Then I'm on a mission to save money. (& wth they are all kinda mutually exclusive so I can only focus on one at a go) When all of these failed, here I am, trying to prove to myself that I do have some redeeming qualities (& that I'm not a total failure in life ie one fat piece of dumb lard). So my last week of restructured time table is officially over. From next week onwards, there will be no more 2 lectures per day, going to school late, hanging around doing nothing, watching shows on Funshion once I reach home..I might have to actually start doing my maths tutorial and read up on all the stuff that I've been putting away for so long. :(( Dreadssss. My last day of the week was kinda well spent I guess? OP dry run was quite entertaining. Then Ting, Jams & I had pastamania before heading back to school to slack. The council canteen is our official new hangout I guess? Good place away from the canteen crowd. We're either doing pw or watching shows there hehe. (or sleeping, on my part. when they wanted to watch the later eps of Vampire Diaries & I refuse to skip the eps in between no matter how hard they try to convince me) We went for the art show in the evening & it was super impressive D: Omg how I wish I'm artistic D: Went for the usual Friday 4/5 dinner. Had a good time catching up with the girls, though the guys were annoyingly late as usual. But my food was horrible. I couldn't stand the strong taste of my satay beehoon gaggg.

Have you ever felt like you're detached from the rest of the world? Like you watch everyone else changing, pursuing their happiness, making new friends...Initially, I guess it's kinda painful to watch? You tend to ask yourself why you are not moving forward. Then you panic, and try to make your life look better, to make yourself feel better. You try hard to convince yourself that you're enjoying every moment of it. But then you grow really sick of pretending. You detach yourself from your life, from emotions, from everything else you tried and failed to find. You give up. You read to get away from the monotony of your own life. After all, it's kind of comforting to know what a fictional ex-con is going through. It makes your little 'teenager problems' seem so trivial.

Anyway, I meant Hi, I hate OP. I'm pretty proud of myself of finishing my I&R draft within a couple of hours though hehehe. Although my work is always always of poor quality when it comes to PW...I just hate wasting time on it and I would do anything to get it over and done with. Had a shopping trip with Jiayi & we caught up over drinks @ ann siang hill. :3 Was soooo majorly bummed that all the boutiques that I wanted to visit were freaking closed by the time we reached there at 8pm?! I wanted to revisit Oakham Market so badly! :( But we both got new shoes that day & coincidentally threw the ones on our feet immediately as they were conveniently spoilt. But my pretty platform sandals were a tad bit too large for my feet and they made my feel sore and blistered all over :( A price to pay for vainity. We were sourcing for good & cheap food & settled for some Chinese food. My sweet & sour fish rice tasted awesome! Although probably not as good as all those steamboats, Korean food & whatnot which we refused to splurge on. Why did I not refuse to splurge on food? (I have no idea how that will affect us...I guess the school just loves to find any excuse to exempt us from lessons. Oh not that I'm complaining though! Lepak life, I'm really getting used to this ^^)

So I've got the chance to meet up & catch up with the good'ol friends! & it is really depressing how people like us catch up over food. It's like when you're younger, you catch up over something more active like saaay, window shopping! Now that we're all getting old, you just wanna sit down somewhere and talk. That's what me & my lovely kinzy did! Had a huge dosai after she attempted to convince me that I'm not fat (how can anyone not be fat next to her?!). Nah I'm not the least convinced but I ate it anyway 'cause I'm a pig like that. Speaking of pigs, have you heard of my non-pork diet?! Have been sustaining it for a few weeks since Amzar told me about the tapeworms that are hidden inside pork. The worms that NEVER EVER leave your body or something...I was so freaked out that I didn't even bother to google to check the reliability (I really should have, since it's Amzar we're talking about here). Therefore, like a really dumb blonde, I blindly went ahead to avoid pork @ all cost. I can live without meat though, since I'm not really a big fan of meat. I'm more of a veggie, fish & dessert person anyhoooow ^^ Anyway, any outing with Kinzy is happening in some twisted sense. There was this really annoying (bordering rudeness) dude who tried to convince us to sign up for some membership for a restaurant. & we...pretended that we're not locals. HAHAHA. "Erm sorry we're not locals & we won't be hanging around" were my exact words. He totally did not buy the bullshit that I'm Indonesian & she's from the Philippines. I mean, why not?! I thought that was a pretty good one. Sigh.

Food binging didn't stop @ dosai & chocolate sogurt. I feasted on seafood @ Chomp Chomp with the 4/5 usuals really late at night. I practically spent the entire time attacking the stingray since I'm not a big fan of sotongs. Had satays & chicken wings too...oh my, too much good food in a day!!! Like whaaat, no work, no school, no stress & a lot of food + good company?! Life is too good to be trueeee. I'm glad that I went out to see the world & had human contact instead of hiding in my hermit cave watching episode after episode of Vampire Diaries (which could totally occupy me for the entire weekends). I was so worried about myself & my new found addiction. I literally rushed home after school almost everyday in the week to watch VD instead of getting a life, which I really SHOULD get one, you know, since it's post-exams & 2 lectures per day is unbelievably awesome. & I dreamt about vampires a good couple of times...Not a good sign. D:

Anyway, I went to revisit my past last Sunday hahaha. Had steamboat @ a really unexpected place when the family of the most unexpected person. At first I thought that was a ridiculous idea but I'm so glad I've decided to go for it in the end. (yknow, out of boredom) It's one of those life changing moments when you fully grasp the fact that TIME HEALS ALL (the almighty 3 words that everybody tells their depressed friends but never actually believe in it themselves). Sometimes I wonder how something that almost killed me in the past would mean so little to me just a couple of years later. Things like that are what make people stronger eventually, aren't they?

I'm still really proud of myself for making an effort to update my blog. You know, maybe I should use the time to do my I&R for PW or work on my OP script..or catch up on all the econs & maths stuff that I've missed when I skipped lectures for a good 3 weeks to study for my promos. Orrr you know, get some sleep!! Sighhhh..can I only get back to reality after I get my promos results back? It wouldn't be a pretty sight and I need to enjoy all I can for now...before the truth hits me, hard.

Hi kids! So I've been blogging really regularly lately :o The week away from academics really did me some good. I miss studying already!! Sigh. Nevertheless, I tried to make the best out of my free time. The only time I had to attend school was for PW lectures...the stress of OP is getting on to me already, before we even start preparing for it :( I'm totally the bimbo type who will look like I'm gonna dissolve into tears when they ask me any question...I'm really gonna look/sound really stupid next to my super confident and eloquent group mates, especially ting & liffy D: (must remind myself to cut down on my 'like's, 'I think's and 'erm's) After PW lectures, me and ting did our nerdy thing of camping in the much familiar school library. Had a mini movie marathon. Charlie St.Clouds & Around the Universe. The first movie was rather confusing and unimpressive, we felt. (though Zac Efron is really cute hehehehe). The 2nd movie was really enjoyable! So glad ting reccomended it! It's a musical featuring all the Beatles songs and the movie was about hippies who were active in the anti-war peace movements during the 1960s. Everyone should watch it!! So inspired!! I should just ship myself off to some suburban part of America & be a hippieeeeee. No exams no stress, get high everyday~

On one of the days I caught Abduction with a friend. Pretty good movie but kind of predictable. It was a pretty good catch up with that friend. And I'm so glad that I've sorted out the mixed feelings that had me feeling both guilty and frustrated for...3months :) I can't believe I've let it drag on for so long...it felt good to sort things out though. It's like I can feel myself growing up every time I overcome an obstacle. Cliche but don't you think it's pretty true?

The highlight of the week was definitely thrift store shopping with ange (L). I dragged her all around SG to visit the 2 thrift stores that I've googled excitedly on the previous night of our mini adventure. I've got awesome bargains: a really vintage highwaist jeans for 5 bucks and a camisole for 1 buck!! & our lunch/tea of tomyam spag & salmon salad @ swiss bakery was really good too! Met my bro for dinner & more shopping. He treated me to HK cafe & let me use his 20% birthday discount on my new havaianas with tribal prints :D Happy happy kid is I.

Maybe the whole hippie thing is really getting into me. Here's my masterpiece - A pair of tribal canvas shoes painstaking hand painted by yours truly. Snipped off the ugly black elastic band in the middle and sewn on tiny hoops for the laces to go through, and there you have it, my very own unique pair of shoes hehe.

& today, I had a therapeutic reading session @ Ministry of Food. Just me, Austen and a tall glass of sinful lemon milkshake (which is just melted ice cream I swear). I figure that after a week of attempt, classic novels are just not me. Should stop trying so hard to be all intellectual when I'm just a bimbz with an undying passion for really shallow chicklits (sophie kineslla!!!). (but ting said Austens were the chicklit of 19th century and they are the victorian era Gossip Girl so I should just embrace it...hehe)

Have been terribly idle for the past 4 days! The last time I felt so idle was almost 9 months ago, when I was still enjoying my long break before I enter JC. Have I mentioned that I've finally finally gotten a laptop?! :D It's a really pretty champagne gold Toshiba satellite! & I bought a pale blue leather envelop clutch as a laptop casing during my shopping trip w/Weilin @ Town on Saturday. It's been so long since I last lepak with my Stalker heh. & since VJ & RJ finish promos first, we got the chance to hang out & bought birthday presents for our brothers. I spent 50$ (electronic shaver & braided wristlet & long socks from Topman) on my brother w/o hesitation..since he's gonna enlist into the army really soon.

Took a bus ride to the airport for a reading session w/Ting @Starbucks! Well I certainly didn't give Austen enough credits for the afternoon. Spent the first couple of hours chatting and the next hour swooning over our respective temp eyecandies in a really large group of jap school boys in uniform HAHA. They are all really pretty! (albeit rather skinny) Our dinner was plain porridge @ Crystal Jade,ironically costing a fraction of the price we paid for our frappe. Spent 10min going up and down the lift doing you-know-what before we part ways. Celebrated my brother's 21st birthday at night, with our family and his girlfriend. Can't believe my bro is all grown up now *sniffs*.

So after the weekend, you bet I've ran out of money. Made a trip to the market with my bro to have lunch & send my 200++ photos for printing (yes, I owe my bro 40 over bux now), I call it the 'Best of 2011' heh. So many memories came back when I was sorting through the photos I took this year...Orientation, class camp, USA, random 4/5'10 outings..I guess it's the busiest and most eventful year! It has just dawned upon me that I've been blogging less and less frequently every year...Back when I first started blogging in primary four, I blogged religiously every single day even though I probably have zero reader. It's interesting to read my really old archives. It makes me realised how much I've changed and grown over the years. From posting up photos of my idols (dreaming about the life I could lead when I grow up), to hating/'emo-ing' (sulky pre-teen yknow, but really, I was p5. how bad could life be?!), to blogging about the exciting encounters in secondary school (8/10 posts I'm hating on teachers/backstabbers/parents/frenemies), to complaining about my struggles in school (being so depressed over the fact that I had simply no chemistry with Chemistry), to lamenting my 'losses'/'heartbreaks-whatsoever. It all seems really surreal. So much unexpected things have happened and time really flies. But yet a really large part of me never seems to alter and deep at heart, I'm still very much the same person despite the entirely different environment and circumstances. I've yet to experience life and sometimes I still feel like the dreamy lil girl I was 10 years back ('cept that I thought I would be having an exciting life by late teens but NOOOOO I'm still mugging like nobody's business lor sighs)

I simply CANNOT believe that promos are OVER. That pretty much marked the coming to an end of my J1 life didn't it? D: The past 2 weeks were really life draining. My ordinary weekday involved camping in the school library till 9pm then moving to the canteen/pick-up point to continue mugging after grabbing a pizza bar from 7/11. I'm really sad to say that promos didn't turn out well at all, not a bit of my hardwork was paid off. Feel like an unfinished exams...studied so hard, with everything in the head, and no time at all to organise my thoughts into words to form complete arguments. Sighs. Makes me wonder over and over again if arts stream was a wise choice..But I really love what I'm studying now. 2 weeks ago I was still comtemplating about taking up h3 econs next year but right now, my biggest fear is failing to promote :(

Post-promos would be a good time to catch up..in life. I have been shutting the world out, cutting contact with almost everybody and I had barely spoken 3 sentences to each of my family members per day. Today, after pigging out on Pastamania, I went to borrow awesome reads from the library! :D Recently Ting & I were just fantasizing about ideal scenario where we meet our soulmate. Hers would be in a bookstore, when the 2 of them pick up the same book and offer to let the other have it. Mine's when I would be reading for hours sipping on coffee in a cafe alone and I would stand up and bang into the guy sitting behind me, who was also deeply engrossed in his reading all along. Then we would start an awkward conversation & instead of exchanging number, both of us will turn out at the same time the following week, hoping to run into each other again HAHAHAHAHA. Cliche romance that's never ever gonna happen...sighs. A girl can dream~ I'm so tired that I'll probably spend the next 3 days reading in bed (yes be realistic, reading in bed is much more comfy then reading in some random cafe right), catching up on drama series, and hopefully uncovering some walking space in my room..which is currently buried with papers of 5 different subjects. I'll probably do some social work soon! & start looking for internships to occupy my time during the upcoming holidays. Maybe I should do my SATs too..hmmm.

All the days wasted, sacrificed for a better life in the future. Why.

dinner @ some indian restaurant near our hotel! the nan was freaking awesome. Can't believe that my first time eating proper indian food (other than Anderson's indian food stall and pratas) was in USA!

there was a supermarket near the restaurant! it's one of those huge awesome supermarkets that you wanna stay inside for the whole day & explore the place while taking tumblr-worthy photos hehehe. or photos of yourselves pretending to be grocery shopping! too bad we didnt have time for all those. hehe. EVEN THE FRUITS LOOK SO PRETTY COMPARED TO THE ONES IN NTUC!

The hotel inWashington is really awesome because it's more spacious & all our rooms are in a single row on the ground floor!! That means a lot of crashing each other's room to chat through the nights hehehe. We totally went crazy & started screaming & laughing the second we entered our room because the portrait of Washington on the wall was apparently really scary looking & we went to the next room to get ben to remove it and place it in a corner of our room. HAHAHA all the good moments :X

Okay that's all for now, I need my sleeeep. PW is draining the life out of me recently :( Sighs. All our failed GPPs and wasted time. Thank god I have amazing group members which made everything so much more bearable. HI GUYS I'M BACK ^^ Hehehe I've been like diligently trying to edit the photos taken in USA and I've only managed to finish the photos taken during the first 2 days! So I've came back around 17th June, after 13 wonderful days in USA...and plunged right into mugging for CTs. I've never felt that exams matter but I just feel obligated to mug anyway. My nature as a geekygal94! I really hope that I don't do that bad in comparison to my peers just in case they look down on me. Really don't wanna be labelled as some stupid ah lian with a puny brain who smoked her way into RJ!! :(Keeping my fingers cross that my essays make sense!)

I'll update a bit about USA (can't update much because I've forgotten all the major parts, which are all the talks from all the important people from World Bank, GIC, MAS, UN etc etc. Stupid of me right?! Should have been a loser and taken down notes! So I wouldnt fall asleep for every single talks opps)! For a start, the hotels room were amazing & I love my roomates -Sab, Inez, Meiyi! IDK Inez & Meiyi @ all before the trip but yet we still had fun tgt in the hotel room being crazy and stuff hehehe. The breakfast buffet was damn delicious. I had like waffles, danish, scramble eggs, bacon, donuts and cereal almost everyday. (all the fats T.T poor belly). The other meals were good too! Overpriced and oversized but the quality is there~ The buildings are so pretty! They are all unpainted unlike the ones we have here so the whole city has brick buildings in different shades of brown! I LIKE I LIKE. TIME SQUARE IS THE BEST, BEATS TOWN IN SG HANDS DOWN ANYTIME ANYDAY! The shopping was really good though I didnt buy much! :x Me & Sab have really similiar taste & we've accumulated A LOT of similiar items before, during and after the trip!! Jackets, cardis, shorts, shirts, shoes and all. hehehe. We've gotten so much closer during the trip that we're practically inseparable! wesokewllike ^^ The visits to the Universities triggered me to think about my future...more choices to be made soon sighs. BUT THE UNI CAMPUS THERE ARE SO HUGE AND MUCH BETTER THAN SG'S :(( Anyway, I guess one of the best parts of the trip is making new friends! ^^ They just make the experience better, and the trip more worthwhile (L)

BTW MY 17th BIRTHDAY JUST PASSED 1.5HRS AGO!! I spent it with the 4/5 clique as usual and I had a great time. Had dim sum in the morning with my family, pool @ cine in the afternoon with some of them & then watched Monte Carlo @AMKhub! Was really touched that the guys were willing to watch such a girly & shallow movie with me 'cause I was really dying to watch it hehehe. Zoey gave me the pair of pumps she watched me tried on a month ago!! So sweet of her to remember my size and the exact design hehe. Jiayi gave me hot pink bikini WHICH IS GOOD, IMMA HANG IT ON MY WALL TO MOTIVATE MYSELF TO TRAIN HARD AND HAVE A FLAT BELLY @ THE END OF THE YEAR SO I CAN WEAR IT SOON HEHEHEHE. & I remembered telling her I like that cutting a couple of years back omggg. After the movie, Weilin asked me to choose anything @ the mall & she paid for a pair of really pretty shorts I'll wear all the time!! :D Then the guys surprised me with the cake @ the end of everything hehehe so sweet! THEIR METHOD WAS DAMN GOOD OKAY. Say what Ryan's knee injury 'started bleeding like crazy and Kang had to send him home' and we should meet Zihang and the others first & walked around and somehow there was suddenly a cake in front of me hehehe. (it sounded so scary & i was panicking for him & getting annoyed that everyone else was so calm about the non-existent crazily bleeding knee!! quite dumb of me to not suspect anything hehehe. ) So sweet omg love them! The outing was awesome even though it was a typical kinda clique outing whereby everyone is late and indecisive but we'll still have fun in the end! Had another cake slightly before 12am when I'm home! (k at this rate jiayi's bikini is to be hung on the wall permanently already sighs)

ANYWAY, thanks for all the birthday wishes!! The texts are really touching and sweet awww ^^ I couldn't reply the ones on facebook the same way because they banned me halfway through screw them. I'm glad that my new JC friends remember my birthday and are so sweet to me too (L) hehehe I feel really blessed and happy with life and thankful for everyone around me right now. Couldn't ask for more! I'M A HAPPY GIRL WITH A SIMPLE AND DRAMA FREE LIFE NOW ^^ Another awesome birthday! <333

Okay I know I'm one of those people who blog with super lamez & boring captions but how interesting can the captions get huh huh huh it's one of those events you take photos with many random people with the same smile whaaat. Being a dresser for 2.5 days during Rproj was crazy. The stress of being stuck in a makeshift fitting room trying to dress as many models as possible in the shortest amount of time while trying to calm them down when their dresses ripped/didn't fit/expose some parts they don't wanna expose, taping them at awkward parts etc. I've seen so much that it's super depressing because they're all crazy skinny & I felt so shitty about my fat stomach/arms/face/thighs (ie every parts). Nevertheless, it was really worthwhile & Rproj will be awesome next year because my batchmates r so kewlz ^^

The first week of my June hols following Rproj was boring. Had to return to school for the first 3 days due to pw and stuff :( Spent the rest of the week mugging with different people @ different places, with peedubz group in canteen (was really a failed one because me & ting ended up HTHT for hours as usual~ hehehe), fadhli @ rajar block (he surprised me with an apple crumble which ruined my post-rproj diet plan of the day muahaha i end up buying sandwich from the awesome sandwich machine, thus ditching my diet plan permanently), shiyin @ toastbox (had breakfast set at 6pm. need the energy & cafein really badly to last me thru tuition, which was scary because my tutor kinda lectured us about us not focusing on our studies enough. We really deserve/need it. After skipping tuition for the entire month), ange @ SMU (it was only productive for about 2h before we started chatting hehez. & exploring the SMU bookshop! that place is a heaven for mugging! so many tables & cafes etc. Walk to cityhall for Sumosalad, the best thing in the world omg. They're basically overpriced but absolutely delicious veggies. & healthy! hehehe. then we went shop & more food. well spent day because the company is awesome!) , fifi @ KTPH (my fav mugging place. but it's not as productive with him because he's super random & lamezzz. but he's damn nice to get me cookies & kinder bueno, which are making me really fat ohh nooz.)!

Like what I told ange, mugging is in our blood. Everyday we wake up & we think of what to mug, who to mug with, where to mug at. Well, whether you're productive or not is another story HAHAHA. Most of the time I just end up chatting with whoever I'm studying with because studying makes me more incline to talk crap to give my brain a break. & I'm the type of person who can't stop talking after I start.Really bad. That's why I'm most productive when I'm alone. Unless I get distracted by food, which is equally bad (if not, worse). So far I've only been doing hist notes. The subject is super content heavy! It's like in the past, I'm one of those type who did my notes immediately after the lessons to keep on track (and laugh at my friends who are busy writing notes before exams while I'm happily shopping/ reading my already-done-notes) but in JC I'm like really busy with all the random events & it's too fun for me to sit down and write notes arghh :( So I'm struggling now and I deserve it :(

The reason why I'm trying to hard to study is because I'mma be away @ USA for 2 weeks!!! Super stoked for the trip. Can't wait to go shopping & explore USA with my friends! ^^ Hope I remember to buy stuff for all my friends (and that I have enough money hehehe). Hope I have time to catch up on my other subjects when I'm on the plane or something :x Me & sab are gonna try to mug at night too! I CAN'T WAIT!!! Am leaving tmr night (6th june 3am to be exact)!! & Common tests are a week after I'm back. I'msodeadlike. :(

I finally have time to update!! (actually not really, but I'm just ditching all my other never ending work because I've been wanting to update my blog since I came back from camp.)It's like, I'm trying to blog once a month thinking that I can write down everything at a go when I even rmb what happened a few weeks ago :(( JC is so busy and I can't believe 1/4 of our JC life is gone :O How can I just leave out the most happening part of my life from my blog when for the past few years I've been blogging religiously about shopping/mugging everyday ._. May's amazing btw because every week is a 4-day week hehehe. Here goes nothing-

HAVE I MENTIONED THE MEALTIME?! we had buffet for every single meal and the food was so good that I gained 1kg after camp ._. despite scrambling up a waterfall, abseiling down a part of the waterfall (no kidding! I ABSEILED DOWN A BLOODY WATERFALL OMG PROUD OF MYSELF HAHAHA) & trekking for like 6h or something.

During the last morning, we had this nature art htht thingy..whereby we use any random leaves/branches we can find to do a little art piece about our life and share with the class our life stories. I was I was like err so lame one everyone's gonna say the same thing just gimme lunch and bring me back to sg la. BUT DAMN, I WAS WRONG. Everyone had their own story, their own difficulties and have been through a rough patch of their life. It was a freaking emotional session whereby everyone had tears flowing non-stop :O After the session, I feel like I've grown closer to each and everyone from 12A01D & the bond is much stronger. I really appreciate our camp instructor Ms Wong for coming up with it. The camp was really really meaningful and even though we missed out a large part of our curriculum and is struggling with our academics, I'm glad we're privileged enough to attend the camp. & it's all possible because of Miss Baig! ^^

Presenting Runway ex-co'11!!

After camp, I had my Runway ex-co selection & I'm super happy that I got the quarter-mistress position!! :D I applied for V-chair initially & was quite disappointed that I didn't get it. But then again, I was never one for leadership position actualy hahaha. (this is like my first leadership role in my life I think omg damn fail) So I guess I should't take up such a huge role suddenly & QM is a lot of responsibility too! I'm looking forward to decorating the 2 new Runway rooms after Rproj :DDDD & I love the new ex-co members too!! :D There're all awesome to work with. We had our first meeting on one of the non-school monday & we were super productive. We've already came out with a whole list of activities and tasks to accomplish! ^^ (& even the theme for next year Rproj too!!)

on one of the random thursdays I went down to bukit timah to meet maaa gal! ^^ MISS MZ LIKE CRAZY OKAY. Imagine sitting with someone in class for an entire year, checking each others to-do list daily and pinching each other when either of us fall asleep in class, then having to go through school without her!! :(( How sia?! Anyway we went island creamery & the apple crumple + teh tarik/banana ice cream was freaking good!! It was a failed study session. Once we reach there we're like nah don't bother taking out our work, let's just eat and catch up. hehehez (& camwhore duh) DON'T WE LOOK ALIKE WITH BANGS?! K we both look like xiaomeimei ._. (but she cheated my feelings btw, said she'll come to bishan soon but that girl disappeared already sighszxs.)

Last friday we had a mini class outing @ fort canning park to watch Shakespeares @ the Park: Macbeth! ^^ it's my 2nd Adrian Pang production @ FCP & I was shocked that I could understand the play this time round. muahaha. We had a mini picnic with sushi and london choco roll (+ some pasta a group of people donated to us + cheese with bread donated by another group of people. I think shiyin managed to get all those food HAHAHA. SHE WAS SOME HUNGRY KID OKAY.) The outing was really small because most people couldnt make it - only me, jaime, shiyin, joey, tingyi & nick. & we were sitting on my old shower curtain damn retarded. HAHAHA. I KNOW I UNCOOL, PEOPLE BRING PICNIC MAT I BRING SHOWER CURTAIN HAHAHA. (but jaime worse ah she brought trash bag HAHA) then we slacked @ mos burger before I took train with hafeez & I almost missed my last bus home because we took the bounce-back traaaain. Was super tired but had fun! ^^

then the following day I mugged with shiyin @ heeren's spinelli before checking out the flea @ scape & buying lots of food to smuggle into the PAC to eat during The Importance of Being Earnest - Player's school production. The play was really good too! Sat at the front seat (& was chewing embarassingly loudly, according to alisa :x) Hung out at KFC after the play and was home quite late again. (btw check out my super cool art folder in the pix!! I made it in sec1 and rediscovered it that morning when I was hunting for drawing blocks to do notes. hehehe. shiyin made a similiar one too and we're damn cool now, juz sayinz hehehez

Audi Fashion show by Laselle last Sunday with the Runway kids! It was damn cool! The designs were awesome and the models're so pretty :O Had batch dinner @ Ion aftermath. ^^

Had class dinner on friday! I camped in the school library the whole day because I didnt wanna go home, fall asleep and miss the outing again! (haven't go the friday dinners in a few weeks!) Met Jiayi first & shopped around amk, something I used to do really often in my Anderson days. Finally bought a new pair of oxfords after my previous studded ones died. We splurged on Zoey's present tgt too. The next day I met KINAH BBG to pass her her belated birthday present - OPI's katy perry series in black shatter okay I've been looking for it just for heeer (L) Splurged @ the flea before meeting the same 4/5 people for a mini outing to celebrate Zoey's birthday. Had pastamania, caught Pirates of the Carribean & surprised her with a cake @ the end of the day! :D Glad she liked the surprise and our presents!! (L) Went to town today to mug @ spinelli but it was unproductive because the weather's a bitch.

Okay I'm done! :D Not to mention was perfect month was punctured by horrible sessions of pw meetings from 8pm to 4am doing gpp, feeling zombified by triumph the following day when we hand up our gpp, only to be slammed by our pw teacher who made us redo our gpp almost completely and the cycle repeats. I'm thankful that my pw mates are the most awesome people & everyone contributed! Anyway, my previous selling post was rather sucessful! I know this space is pretty dead :S Just wanna update because I wanna record down little bits of my life, been doing so since p4 :S Feel so weird if I were to stop blogging altogether, it would be like..outgrowing something. & I'm not ready to outgrow yet another thing that means quite a lot to me. THUS, the attempt to blog on the last day of my March Hols, which passed by in a flash :s Like wuuut, fun mugging sessions with different people, outings with old friends who are still very very dear to me, visiting andss & BUYING SEWING MACHINE ^^ Everyday of my hols was well spent & extremely draining :s What's with my lack of sleep due to excessive amount of time spent on formspring & twitter, not mentioning my attempt to catch up with school work/ finish up homework etc. Nevertheless, I'm so excited to have my own sewing machine! It's something I've always wanted since young. Now that I'm in Raffles Runway, I really wanna put in my best in something I love & have a passion for. Can't wait to start on my dress for Rproject! ^^ (though I seriously need to figure out how to use the machine first, that half a year with Mrs Kumar in sec2 isn't exactly very useful)

I hope I can make the best of out my 2 yrs in RJ & continue to meet more awesome people & get closer with my classmates/CCAmates etc. I hope I'll stop getting so andss sick though :( I can get so emotional @ times :( Missing the gang, & especially my clique. They're so irreplaceable :S Hope the weekly friday outings will still be on no matter how busy they are!

12A01D!! (L)

Happy Valentines' Day! :D Mine is really screwed though :x I'm cursed with a life time of screwed up festivals or events. Nevertheless, I have spent one week with my new class & everyone is really nice and awesome :D It's true that Arts people think differently. I LIKE (Y) All our self intros were super fun and all. Take 5 last Friday @ Sentosa was rather fun though I didn't do anything much. Had OG outing @ yuanrong's house & I had serious muscles ache from playing Wii ._. The east looks much better than north. I seriously want to live in the east!! :( Flea on Sunday with OG girls were rather uneventful. I need to get a new backpack soon. Anyone knows where a yellow Jansport is available at? :x

Official timetable starts today & I'm gonna live a peaceful mugger life soon! Time to read up and catch up in schoolwork. Was barely paying attention during lectures. On a happier note, I've finally gotten my uniform & my super efficient mama just altered it for me like immediately! Yay no more pinafore!

Happy CNY!!! :D How was angbao collection & gambling w your friends & relatives?! I have been pretty busy ever since school started. 4 days of fun of Delshanto ended with orientation night on Tuesday. Orientation was awesome that I'm already having orientation withdrawal symptoms :( My OG is really damn right the best. HAHA.

Had CNY break from Weds onwards. Played monopoly & drank liquor with my family on New Year's Eve. THEY FINALLY AGREED TO PLAY MONOPOLY WITH ME OKAY?! After whining for 2 months :( First day of CNY was extremely mundane, with the same traditions of visiting the temple, followed by my mum's side grannies' place & dad's side's aunt's place where all the relatives gathered. My angbao money is like reducing every year~ All my cute lil nieces & nephews get the money man! My niece is more righteous than me, she told me that both Tom & Jerry are evil because Jerry is in the wrong when he takes revenge on Tom. WTF RIGHT? Who knew kids nowadays are so intelligent/weird? Back then I was all 'Yay jerry. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT'. Me & Jiayi crashed Shaun's house on early friday morning & we were quite surprised when a group of relatives flocked in suddenly?! So we ended up with quite a generous round of angbaos. HAHA. Dined in @ a chinese restaurant w/my family for lunch then we went grocery shopping tgt for steamboat! It was all food food food. heh.

3rd day of CNY, met up with Zoey, Mingz & Ryan for visiting @ Jiayi's. Her house is so freaking pretty after renovations! Envy~ Brought them over to my house a while before meeting the guys & heading to Zoey's. I realised that I was gorging on snacks whenever I go rooooar. Pooven had to make me sound like some kind of pig when I was making a beeline for the mint delfi choco sticks & practically all the other snacks. Like that how!? Sure gain 3kg @ the end of CNY. :( Had pizza there too(her mama's always so generous~) & we practically gambled the whole day before we went for dinner break @ Woodlands Mart opposite her house (my korea cuisine sucked like wtf but its okay I paid for it with my winnings. HAHAHA.) & then back to her house to play some old games tgt. Miss them as always! Oh we took a lot of cute group photos, shall upload them here when I get the pix :D

Had an impromtu outing with Hakiim, his bro & Hafeez to town today to get my uniform. HAHA. They were so nice & patience I felt baaaad :x Can you believe that the XS, S, M & L for the skirts are all OOS?! I can fit into s/m/l yknow? (highwaist, midwaist, hip) SO IT MEANS THAT EVERYONE IN RJ IS FUCKING SKINNY OR WHAT?! crazy shit. I wanna get my skirts quickly so I can alter them roooar. So I only brought the shirts in the end & we bumped into a few Rafflesians there. Went to play pool & I was embarassingly noob please :( Had chocolate prata for dinner yay~ Can't believe school is officially starting tmr! Cross my fingers that my new classmates are fun & nice!

This my RJ orientation group MR01 (Damn Right Its Better Than Yours)! :D Orientation has been extremely fun for the past 2 days! Tell ya something stupid, I've not check out the orienation booklet AT ALL so IDK what's the next program & stuff, just go with the flow. I'm too tired/busy omggg :( But my OG group is super fun and enthu, I LIKE (Y) Hope the rest of the orientation will be awesome as well. I've chose HELM & I'm not taking h1mt. But everyone seems to be taking science though :x Kind of look forward to official lessons because I'm too tired to have fun HAHAHA. Its getting home at 10pm-12am these days & a lot of travelling around. Did a photoshoot with Jiayi & Zoey today as part of Jiayi's birthday present! :D Went to watch Green Hornet with the guys afterwards, miss them soooo much :(

We just had another 4/5 class chalet! The company was awesome as usual & Aloha Loyang Garden Bungalow is the prettiest chalet I've ever been to! Heh & how many classes get to have 2 chalets in one holiday?! ^^ Had a chocolate cake to celebrate birthdays for the January Babies, which was sinfully delicious :o Went ehub to play pool & eat then we had a horror movie marathon. The movie 1408 was the best horror movie I've ever watched because of its plot. I mean, most horror movies don't make much sense but that one was actually interesting!

Me & Zoey crashed the guys' room to play Ipad & Cheat afterwards because it was like 2am? Too early to sleep at chalet, heh. I totally sucked at Cheat because I catch people based on their expressions instead of using logic & memorising the cards that had been played. & walao they all had poker faces lor! HAHA. At some point in time everyone started crashing one by one & we went back to the girls' room to squeeze bed with Weilin & I swear 3 people cannot share a king sized bed! HAHAHA. So you bet my sleep wasn't sound & before I knew it I was blinking myself awake in the morning when I suddenly hear a chain of mobile phone vibrations I WAS LIKE FUCK, JAE POSTING RESULTS. I was considering if I should just jump up & make a beeline for my phone or wake everyone up first. (okay I can't remember what happened, was too fucking nervous) Soon, we 3 checked out our postings first before dashing into other rooms to wake everyone up. & I GOT INTO RAFFLES JC FOR ARTS, WHICH I TOTALLY SAW IT COMING? That's my 2nd choice, I want hybrid so I applied for Science first but apparently only the 2 pointers got into Science stream for RJ this yr?!

I was kinda bumped about my posting, maybe because Yijun & Weilin got into VJ instead so it kinda means that I don't really have any closer friends in RJ orrrr because everyone was saying that Science is more promising & the opportunities for arts people are pretty limited? Aiya fucked it my 3rd choice was VJ arts anyway so I would get into arts no matter what. Lesighs, just resign to fate? I'm gonna appeal for hybrid when I'm choosing my combi (I don't even know if its possible?!), if it fails I'll just do GLEM w/o complains.Anyway, the atmosphere was rather solemn because most people didn't get their first choice? The JAE system was really screwed up this year & I guess everyone performed better than the previous year so the cut off point dropped for most JCs. A lot of us needed to appeal. So we checked out & had breakfast @ Yakun (best kaya toast in the world, me likeeee!)) before we went back Anderson to ask for our testimonials (& caused a scene in the general office?
